News and Trail Conditions

Sausage Roast Big Success! - Even without nice groomed trails, our 3rd annual sausage roast was SOLD out!  A big thanks to everyone who stopped by for lunch.  We really appreciate your support.  We even had about 20 sleds stop in as our trails are definitely ridable, especially those coming over from VT.  Finally, a big thanks to our primary sponsor, F. B. Spaulding Co. and Polaris, and our other sponsors, North Country Ford, Kilkenny Building Center, and Geo. M. Stevens.  Without your help, we couldn't make this such a success. The most important part is that we HAD A GREAT TIME!  Thanks again everyone and see you next year!

50/50 Winner was none other than our Trailmaster, Ken, who donated it back to our building addition fund!  THANK YOU KENNY!

Next Snow Drifters Meeting:  Wednesday, Feb. 15th at 7:00PM at the Clubhouse

WEATHER AND TRAIL CONDITIONS

UPDATED ON:  2-6-12

CURRENT WEATHER

Completely beautiful sunny day today.  In fact, other than a chance for some flurries overnight, this week will be plenty boring.  With sunny days comes melting and so any dark spots on our trails will cause us to lose some of what little base we have.  You can still ride out of Lancaster to VT without any problem.  There is a deep dip/ditch between the fields that you must watch for.  Riding to Jefferson is pointless as they have so little snow on the pipeline, that the sun will be deadly for them this week.  Going north on Corridor 5 doesn't work because it is closed in Groveton.  So head WEST into VT.  If you want to ride from here in NH, you should trailer to Nash or points further north.

TRAIL TO LANCASTER MOTOR INN TEMPORARILY CLOSED! - Because some idiot decided to ride off the trail in the field between the Court House and Corridor 5, trail access has been temporarily closed to the LMI until we have more snow!  If you can read, which I doubt since we have signs all over that trail, thanks for being the one that wrecks things for the many!
